On Tuesday 11 October, Slough Children First’s (SCF) IFA held a coffee morning for our foster carers.
As well as having refreshments, the coffee mornings are a chance for the foster carers to catch-up with each other and speak to us about anything that’s on their mind.
In celebration of Black History Month, two of our carers made some traditional Ethiopian dishes including Doro Wat (Ethiopian Spiced Chicken) and Injera bread for everyone to try, which were very delicious!
Our staff also organised a fun black history bingo for the end which was good fun too.
Thank you again to everyone who attended and supported.
